CBN Mono-Crystal

Cubic Boron Nitride mono-crystalline is one kind of super abrasives that has the most thermal stability and its hardness is only second to the diamond. Not like a diamond, due to the combination of CBN’s toughness, chemical, and thermal stability, CBN is widely used for grinding ferrous alloys and superalloy materials. With many years of professional experience, UHD company developed amber color series and Black color series CBN products covering all kinds of bond systems, offering the best choice for our clients.

Application Range Of CBN Mono-Crystal:

The grinding performance of cubic boron nitride abrasive tools is very excellent, not only capable of processing difficult-to-grind materials, improving productivity, but also conducive to strict control of the shape and dimensional accuracy of the workpiece, but also effectively improving the grinding quality of the workpiece and significantly improving The surface integrity of the workpiece after grinding, thus improving the fatigue strength of the parts, prolonging the service life, and increasing the reliability. In addition, the cubic boron nitride abrasive production process is better than ordinary abrasive production in terms of energy consumption and environmental pollution. Therefore, expanding the production and application of cubic boron nitride abrasive tools is an inevitable trend in the development of the machinery industry.

1.Sharpening and rough grinding of tools containing tungsten, tungsten, molybdenum, and other high-speed steels, especially vanadium alloy steel, cobalt alloy steel, and special high-speed steel tools.
2.Fine grinding and final grinding of precision parts made of heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, and high-hardness alloy structural steel. When these parts are used with ordinary abrasive tools, high accuracy cannot be obtained due to abrasive tool consumption or blunt grinding too fast.
3.Grinding of various material parts sensitive to local thermal stress and thermal shock.
4.Fine grinding and final grinding of large precision workpieces (machine tool guide rails, high-precision machine tool screws). These workpieces often cause large thermal deformation due to the high grinding temperature, and thus fail to obtain high precision.
5.Fine grinding and final grinding of mass-produced workpieces (parts of instruments and miniature bearings) on automatic and semi-automatic machine tools.
6.Grinding of complex surface workpieces (gear shapers, broaches, high-precision gears, profiling tools, punches) that require good edge retention.
7.Surface grinding of thread cutters and thread gauges (tap, thread roller, thread plug gauge, etc.).
8.Superfinishing of difficult-to-machine heat-resistant steel workpieces.
9.Grinding of other steel quenching tools.
